Juniot Professional Office (JPO) - Data Analyst
Reporting to the Country Representative, the JPO provides analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization in the partnership unit. The candidate will work closely with internal teams, government stakeholders, and development partners to analyze project data, develop funding proposals, and support investment strategies.

PURPOSE
The JPO will support GGGI Côte d’Ivoire’s Partnership & Resource Mobilization Unit by conducting data analysis, financial modeling, and visualization to enhance fundraising strategies. This role will contribute to strengthening donor engagement by providing data-driven insights, financial projections, and impact assessments. She/he will contribute to strategic analysis, business intelligence, and resource mobilization efforts. Assist in organizing meetings, maintaining partnerships, and supporting outreach initiatives to enhance GGGI’s visibility and impact.
ENGAGEMENT
- Collaborating closely with GGGI teams, government agencies, financial institutions, and donors to align financial analysis with green growth priorities
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather data, validate financial assumptions, and identify funding opportunities.
- Provide data-driven insights to support resource mobilization strategies and strengthen partnerships.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and discussions related to climate finance, project funding, and donor engagement.
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
DELIVERY
- Prepare cost-benefit models and financial projections to strengthen funding proposals.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and data visualizations to track trends and project impact.
- Draft funding proposals and investment presentations under supervision.
- Engage with stakeholders to assess funding risks and enhance financial strategies.
- Contribute to the development of GGGI's knowledge products in the area of green growth, economic and financial analysis, and sustainable development.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in a relevant area in such as data analytics, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, sustainable development, and public policy, or other relevant fields Two years’ post-graduate work experience in relevant areas. The experience can include
- internships, volunteering, and unpaid assignments.
- Age 32 or under at the commencement of the program.
- A national of GGGI member countries
- Proven experience in data analysis, data modeling, application of economic analysis, and/or project structuring, preferably in an international context, technical understanding of specific policies, regulations and market barriers as applicable to renewable energy.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of English and French both spoken and written.
- Experience in supporting governments in Africa on climate finance issues will be an asset.
- Experience in producing high-quality documentation and designing presentation material is a must.
Functional

- Good understanding of micro and macroeconomic concepts and their application to project analysis.
- Demonstrates good communication and organizational skills and evidence of teamworking.
- Excellent MS Office application skills and experience of using databases are a definite advantage
- The ability to undertake research and analyze data and experience of report writing. Demonstrates good organizational skills.
- Experience of living and/or working in multi-cultural contexts would be an advantage.
